Kindergarten Information

Our K-5 class is an all-day program from 8:00 AM—2:50 PM. The students participate in activities that challenge them academically and build their motor skills.

Bible class is taught daily, and the students attend elementary chapel once a week. Reading is taught through the phonics method. Students should be able to perform simple reading by the end of the school year. The students learn to write in cursive. Numbers and math are taught through drills and manipulatives.

The class participates in two service projects each year. These projects emphasize missions and community service. Academics are taught in the beginning of the day. Arts, recess, and nap time are taken at the end of the day. A field trip is taken each quarter. They are all fun but also have educational value. Parents are permitted to attend.

The school year concludes with the K-5 Graduation Program. The students perform in a play, and then they receive their kindergarten diplomas. Parent volunteers may be needed at times; contact the teacher to be considered.
