"Growing In The Word" Discipleship
One of the most important ministries offered at Hilltop is the "Growing In The Word" discipleship program. This ministry exists to help young believers grow in the Word through Bible study and daily reading. If a person desires to participate, they will be paired up with a mature Christian that has been trained especially for this program. They will meet each Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. to study, together, a workbook that explains the doctrines of God as well as the fundamentals of the faith.
This training period usually lasts 15-20 weeks. Questions are encouraged and discussion is the thrust of each lesson. At the conclusion of the study, the disciple will be presented before the church and receive a certificate acknowledging the students completion of the program.
