Ministries at Hilltop

Most people are interested in knowing what a church has to offer. We are proud to be a

"family-oriented" church. Our ministries are geared to reach the entire family and promote "family togetherness." Here are a few of the ministries available to you and your family:

 

 

Sunday School

Capable and qualified teachers and assistants staff our classes. We have graded classes from Cradle Roll through Senior Adults. You will be challenged by caring people in our classes.

 

Worship Services

The strong point of emphasis in our church is the preaching ministry. Each service on Sunday morning, Sunday night and Wednesday night is directed toward the preaching of God's Word. We believe you and your family will be strengthened by the pulpit ministry of our church.

 

Children's Church

We have two Children's Churches. One for primary ages 3-6, and one for Junior ages 7-12. The services are conducted on a child's level with Bible stories, object lessons, music, and a host of other things exciting to children.

 

Music Ministry

Our music ministry centers basically around our Adult Choir. Annually, special programs such as a Christmas Cantata, Easter Cantata, Patriotic Program, and others are done by our Adult Choir. If you are a musician or are musically inclined, there are ample opportunities for you to be involved in our special music.

 

Teenanalysis

This is our weekly program that meets each Wednesday night. This program begins each September and culminates in August with our Teen Banquet and the Teen of the Year Award. Two activities are planned each month, and two or three "major"events are scheduled each year. This is a great program for your teen!

 

Awana Program

An exciting and structured Wednesday night program for children ages 3-12. The Cubbies, Sparks, and "T and T" enjoy interesting Bible lessons, games, Bible memorization, and songs. The kids love it!

 

Hilltop Christian School

Our church operates a Christian School Monday through Friday each week during the school year. Hilltop Christian School has been in operation since 1982. We have grades K5-12th. We have a very capable, dedicated and qualified faculty and staff. It is our goal not only to teach children how to make a living, but how to live. Outreach Visitation

We have two opportunities to be involved in enlisting others for Christ and His Church. Each Wednesday evening we have Adult Visitation. We also have Bus Visitation each Saturday morning. We are glad to have folks join us either of these times.

 

Bus Ministry

For over 25 years now, Hilltop Free Will Baptist Church has had a ministry of running buses to pick up boys and girls, as well as adults, and bring them to church. This is a very special ministry to us, and one in which we are proud to be involved.

 

Senior Saints

We have a very active Senior Saints ministry. These folks meet together regularly for meals, fellowship and devotional time. There are also special activities and trips planned throughout the year.

 

Spanish Ministry

While worship services are being held in our main auditorium, services are being conducted on another part of our campus in the Spanish Language. This ministry is growing fast and we are proud to be able to bring the Gospel to the Spanish-speaking community in our area.
