What to Expect in Junior High and High School
· School Retreat: Each year during the month of September, the students attend a two day retreat. This trip allows us to begin the school year with a spiritual emphasis. It also allows the students and teachers to become well acquainted with each other, building a sense of unity among the student body. The retreat involves a variety of activities and chapel services.
· SACS Competition (9th-12th): Each year during the spring, the HS students participate in a three day competition. The competition areas are in the categories of music, platform and speech, arts and crafts, athletics, and academics.
· Athletics: Girls’ volleyball, cheerleading, and basketball teams are for 7th-12th grades. For the boys, JV (7th and up) and varsity basketball teams are available. New sports will be added as enrollment increases.
